New York, NY, United States (4E) – Samsung Galaxy S4 rumors continue to make rounds online. The latest rumor, as reported by blog website Sammobile, speculates that the latest smartphone offering from Samsung will have eye-tracking scrolling.

The Smart Scroll feature will allow users to perform tasks using just eye movement. Aside from Sammobile, the New York Times also reported Monday.

“A person who has tried the phone, called the Galaxy S IV, described one feature as particularly new and exciting: Eye scrolling.

“The phone will track a user’s eyes to determine where to scroll, said a Samsung employee who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the news media,” the New York Times wrote.

Samsung has already filed for an “Eye Scroll” trademark both in Europe and the United States.

The screenshots obtained by Sammobile show Smart Scroll settings where users can adjust scrolling speed and acceleration. In addition to scrolling, users may also pause a video just by looking away.

Sammobile later reported that the screenshots were taken from the Galaxy S3 running Android 4.2.1, but argued the S4 would have similar features as its predecessor.

It’s expected that Samsung will officially announce the release of the S4 on March 14.
